Watching Eye

Watched

A watching eye means a faction NPC is nearby. It uses distance, not line of sight, so an NPC can witness a crime without a clear view of you.

Hunted

The same eye turns red when hostile NPCs are pursuing you. Flee far enough or die to clear the pursuit. Clearing the eye does not restore lost faction reputation.

Protect your reputation

Looting faction boxes, killing faction soldiers, and witnessed attacks on players with Neutral or better standing can lower your reputation.

Pirate reputation can recover on PvP servers, but not on faction servers. Distrusted still allows basic trading and spawning.
