Reputation & server rules
Distrusted
You can still spawn in the faction’s territory and make basic trades.
PvP servers
Pirate reputation can recover. Improve your standing to regain access to trading and spawning.
Faction servers
Pirate reputation cannot recover. Trading and spawning with that faction remain blocked.
How reputation works
On PvP servers, buying and selling items, trading with a faction’s friends, and fighting its enemies can improve your standing. Looting faction boxes, killing faction soldiers, or witnessed attacks on players with Neutral or better standing can lower it.
The watching eye means a faction NPC is nearby. It uses proximity, not line of sight.
- Pirate · Enemy II · Enemy I
- Hostile soldiers. No trading or spawning with the faction.
- Distrusted · Neutral
- Non-hostile soldiers. Basic trading and spawning allowed.
- Friendly I · Friendly II
- Spawning allowed, with progressively better trades.
- Allied
- Spawning allowed and access to the best trades.
These are reputation standings, separate from a faction’s allies and enemies.
